Ladies Section

A message from Alison Sleat

Welcome to the Ladies Section of Dudsbury Golf Course. Please read on for information about what we offer and how to contact us if you’d like to know more.

What do we have to offer?

The ladies at Dudsbury have an active timetable. Our regular Ladies Competition Day is Tuesday, but for those who prefer to play at a weekend we have allocated tee times on some Sunday mornings and are able to join the Men’s Stableford and Medal Competitions on Saturdays. There are many ladies who meet on other days for social golf.

We have a busy programme of both Friendly and Competition Golf matches against other clubs in both Dorset and Hampshire, and reciprocal arrangements with several other golf clubs in the area.

We hold a Ladies Open Bowmaker competition in May, a Senior Mixed Open in July and a very popular Ladies Coffee morning in September. Details of how to enter can be found on Golf Empire, or from the Competition section of our website.

During the year we also hold several mixed social events and regular mixed friendlies against nearby clubs, providing even more opportunities to play other courses.

Thinking of joining us?

We are always on the lookout for new ladies to come and join us. We promise a warm welcome and a programme packed with golfing and social events.

If you are new to golf, our professional Kieron Fowler runs ‘Get into Golf’ group lessons and offers regular group and individual coaching sessions for both new and experienced golfers.

The staff on the Golf Desk are always ready to help and answer your queries and will be happy to explain your membership options. If you’d like to know more, either give us a ring on 01202 594488, pop in and see us or email

We look forward to seeing you on our beautiful golf course soon.
